Reviews – K-Rino – Makin Enemies

k-rino makin enemies
Has K-Rino ever disappointed you with any of his previous albums? Well
he sure as hell didn’t start now. The new album “Makin’ Enemies” is at
the top of the list so far in 2015, and here is why.

First of all you already know you are going to get lyrics for days but
especially on the songs “Head Punches”, the title track “Makin’ Enemies”
and “Enigma Class” which were the ones that stood out the most for me.
The whole album is full of heated lyrics that would destroy virtually any
so called emcee in the Lame-Stream! If I had the money I would put it
behind K, against any one that usually makes these wack ass top 10
lists that were usually compiled by swagg’d out hipsters that wouldn’t
know a good lyric if it was pounded into their head with a sledge hammer!

Next you got concepts! K is also one of the most creative to ever touch
the mic because of his ability to tell stories while giving you a visual, almost
as if he is painting a picture with his words. The final cut on the album is A
very creative song called “Escape to the Unknown” , with out giving away the
concept, I will just say that when you get what he is talking about you will be
like “That is fuckin’ genius!”

Then you have comedy concepts that will keep you laughing such as the song
“Sensitive Male” where in the chorus he says “Sensitive Male, Sensitive Guy,
Actin’ like a sissy and I don’t know why, Anytime I see you I just walk on by,
I really wanna slap you, but you might cry” As funny as that is, it is also very
true especially in the times that we live in today. We have too many grown men
crying about the littlest things.

I have not decided what my favorite track is yet because I can listen to pretty much
the whole album with out any complaints. The production was real good, with a wide
variety of producers, I think there were 6 of them. Out of 15 or so tracks I only didn’t
vibe to one, but the rest were on point and fit his style perfectly. Over all this is a rare
gem amongst a buncha garbage out there. Don’t sleep on the Wizard and do yourself
a favor and get this album today! -Prezident Bejda
