cover Omnisyllabic

Omnisyllabic is Tikko’s first album and I can’t express enough how much of a dope debut this is. Tikko is part of Monte Critoe’s Red Team along with Don Verb outta Detroit. I have been a fan of Detroit music for decades now, this sounds like it could be from the “D” or straight outta the East Coast somewhere because this is straight Hip Hop. It’s street, it ain’t that backpack shit, its dope lyrical flows over beats with an East Coast vibe.

The subject matter on here is what I really appreciate because it is stuff that you and I can relate to, stuff that the average listener has been through at some point and time in their life. Songs like Down and Out that speak on going through poverty and how mutha fuckaz are no where to be found when you hit ya lowz! Criminal Mind speaks of casualties of the streets and hard times with the dope line “Don’t get it twisted / Poverty is a sickness / At a young age in which we were inflicted”, how can you not feel that? Then he has the song and video called Alyssa’s Song which is a dope record from a Father to his Daughter.

I got nothing but good shit to say about Omnisyllabic, I appreciate good music in an era where rappers swing purses and mumble about meaningless nonsense. Tikko and other cats like him are the reason why I keep wanting to stay in the game and help others find dope music like this! I was thoroughly impressed, and had a few tracks in a couple episodes of In Tha Murder Mix. I definitely recommend this to all those who appreciate good Hip Hop!
